This is a very short video – 7 seconds but it will definitely make you smile this 4 month old male kitten named Pumba is attempting to jump from the table to the rail and completely misjudges the distance, in fact it reminds me a bit of those cartoon where the character suddenly realises that they’ve run off a cliff and just drop off the screen. The owner of Pumba confirms that he wasn’t harmed doing this but I think he’s definitely going to need a little more practice.

Below is a short video by Euromax interviewing Simon Tofield, the british creator of Simon’s cat. Simon was inspired to create this cartoon because of his own cats.  He owns 4 of them and we get to see one getting up to mischeif in this video, so it’s easy to see where his inspiration comes from. Simon wasn’t planning on releasing his video’s online but millions of fans (including myself) are glad that he did.  What turned into a simple idea and cartoon has gained worldwide success and now Simon’s Cat merchandise can be bought such as mugs, calendars, cushions, cards and books.  Watch the in-depth interview below.

This is a lot shorter than Simon Tofield’s normal Simon’s Cat videos and only lasts 45 seconds but it shows how much mayhem a cat an cause in that time and their ability to walk away from a situation with any form of remorse.  Simon’s cat is well known for driving his owner insane with all the naught things he does but it would have been nice to include the owners reaction to the mayhem.  This video’s so short that you feel a bit cheated.  If you want to watch some more of the Simon’s Cat video’s there’s a list below.

This video takes a few seconds to get going but it’s worth it.  It reminds me of the children’s game “what time is it Mr Wolf” where the children only move when the “wolfs” back is turned so they don’t see them moving.  It also reminds me of the weeping Angels from Doctor Who, which are status as long as you don’t take your eyes off them.

We’ll if you were counting on this cat to catch your mice and rats you’d be disappointed.  While he definitely has no intention of eating them, he doesn’t really want to be constantly be followed by his long tailed friends either.  These rats don’t seem to get the hint though as they seem completely infatuated with the cat.  I’ve never seen a cat video like this one.  It seems cats and rats can live together in harmony after all.
