It's a cats world bookIt’s the title of this book which caught my eye and made me chuckle, I don’t think I’ve seen anything that sums my your relationship with my cats any better and if you’re a cat owner this is probably the same for you too.

I haven’t got much to say on the book apart from it boasts that it covers everything you need to know about a cat.  It’s written by Dr Justine Lee and she combines humour with scientific information and answer questions such as why do cats always land on their feet and should I dump my partner because my cat doesn’t like them.

casper commuting catYou may remember a while ago that on the news there was a story about a cat who travelled the buses in Plymouth (Devon).  The cats owner Susan spent time wondering where her cat Casper disappeared off to each day.  As time went on, this special cat became a much loved addition to the bus company and the commuters who regularly used the number 3 bus service.  So much so that Casper the cat became a mascot for the bus company.

Cat Training HumanI came across a book called 100 Ways For A Cat To Train A Human and the title made me smile because I don’t think their is a cat owner how hasn’t actually be trained by their cat.  My cat trains me to get up off the sofa every time she meows at the door, the other trains me to push my laptop further away from me so she can join it on my lap.  They make me do things all the time and take great pleasure in making me stop doing what I need to be doing to do the thing they want me to do like stroke them, tickle their belly and lift up the blanket so they can get under.  So I can definitely say all three of my cats have me trained and have me trained well!

I’ve bought this book a gift for my mum but couldn’t help having a quick look through, I don’t think you really realise how much your cat trains you until you read it. This is part of the product description on Amazon and I have to admit this is what convienced me to buy it.
