I was talking to my best friend the other day about her experiences of trying to wash her persian cat who was rescued and as a result wasn’t groomed as a kitten and therefore doesn’t take too kindly to be brushed or washed. They’d put the cat, Tigger in the shower and tried their best to clean him with water but it wasn’t a pleasant experience for any other them.
I knew I’d seen a no rinse shampoo for cats while I was researching something else and suggested she give it a try. But I thought I would share it with everyone too. I’ve never used this product, in fact I’ve never attempted to wash a cat since I’ve never had the need but this seems to have really good reviews which is the only reason I suggested it to my friend and to you.
One of the reviewers explained that it won’t get oil out of the cats fur but it’s good for general cleaning and another just uses it to clean her cats paws every evening. The way I look at it, if using water to wash your cat is stressing both of you out then for less than the price of 2 cups of coffee you could give this a go. You can read more about it here.
