Yes, you’re right what a strange thing to write a blog post about, but I’m doing so because I started using litter tray liners about a year ago and I’d never go back to not using them. The thought behind them is very simple, there a piece of plastic which stops the wet cat litter from sticking to the bottom of the tray. So no more of those screeching noises as you try and clean off the gunk from the base of the dirty tray.
I suppose you could use other types of plastic materials such as bin liners and old carrier bags but these litter tray liners are thicker so it’s harder for my cats to scratch through them. We use them with a litter tray like this so the cats can’t pull the edges of the liner down in to the cat litter.
If scraping out that litter tray is a job you really hate, why not give these a try, their less than a cost of a coffee.
