You may remember a while ago that on the news there was a story about a cat who travelled the buses in Plymouth (Devon). The cats owner Susan spent time wondering where her cat Casper disappeared off to each day. As time went on, this special cat became a much loved addition to the bus company and the commuters who regularly used the number 3 bus service. So much so that Casper the cat became a mascot for the bus company.
Sadly in 2010 Casper was run over and died, Susan received sympathy messages from all over the world as the news of Casper had spread across the globe.
This book is the true story of Casper the cats who travels on the buses, it’s told by the cats owner Susan. One reviewer said that while sometimes the style of writing can be a bit rambling it is “genuine and comes from the heart”. I think it helps to remind us that Susan is just like you and me, an cat lover. You can read all the reviews of Casper the Commuting Cat here.
