Yes you did indeed read this right, this is a story that was first published in 2008 but I’ve just come across it in the mail online, since it’s not time sensitive I though I would share my find here.

This cat named Yoda by it’s owners Valerie and Ted Rock was part of a large litter and the current owner was looking to rehome him.  When Valerie and Ted Rock stumbled across this cat with 4 ears near a bar they were visiting in Chicago.  They first laid eyes on him while he was being pass around by a group of people curious to see the cat with 4 ears.

The couple had recently lost a cat which they had loved for 20 years and weren’t planning on getting any more until Yoda snuggled into Ted’s neck and fell asleep.  They called him Yoda as it was believed that George Lucas based the character of Yoda on his cat.

Yoda was quickly checked out by the couples vet and declared a healthy cat, his hearring hasn’t been affected with his extra set of ears and his behaviour is no different to other cats.

We wish Yoda and his owners a wonderful life together.
